下葉の自然落下　生存適応で得た生理現象か？

四季彩9は落葉が少ない。キリンソウの中では稀な特性で太い茎に側枝が多数分岐して密生状態となっているが、一般のキリンソウにみられる枝の半分程度が落葉する現象は見られない。

Shikisai 9 has less fallen leaves. It is a rare characteristic among the Kirinso that it has a thick stem with many lateral branches branching out, creating a dense growth, but it does not have the phenomenon of about half of the branches falling leaves, which is seen in general Kirinso.

茎長が最長50cmに達し、先端部の重みで茎は倒れ開張型となる。

葉は常緑性種と同じく株元より新旧交代して生え揃う。
