成長性  growth potential　

四季彩9は、キリンソウの中でも初春の生長が早いグループに属し、１月後半から２月中旬の降雪期に成長を開始する。成長開始は草丈の伸長に始まり、次に紅葉が新緑葉に変化を始める。

草丈は２月後半から３月後半までの１ヵ月間に150％程度伸長する。

新芽は木質部節より積極的に発芽する。四季彩9の幼令株では、越冬姿は密生した中型、草丈の成長は５月頃までで止まる。草丈は15ｃｍ～18ｃｍ程度となり、成長途上で側芽の分枝が始まり、密生した立性となる。

花芽は花序を形成するまでに成長は稀にしか生じない。花序分岐の中央に１輪、花序に数輪と開花しても存在を見つけるのが難しい時期もある。

Shikisai 9 belongs to the group of Kirinsou that grows quickly in early spring, and starts growing during the snowy season from late January to mid-February. The growth begins with the elongation of the plant height, and then the autumn leaves begin to change to new green leaves. The plant height increases by about 150% in one month from late February to late March. New shoots germinate actively from the xylem nodes. The young Shikisai 9 strain has a dense, medium-sized plant that overwinters, and its plant height stops growing by around May. The plant height is approximately 15cm to 18cm, and during growth, branching of lateral buds begins, resulting in a dense erect growth. Flower buds rarely grow until they form an inflorescence. There are times when it is difficult to find one flower in the center of the inflorescence branch, and even if there are several flowers in the inflorescence.
