四季彩11とタケシマキリンソウの草姿を比較

四季彩11は　成長早い草姿が整った明黄緑色（ほのかなやさしいシャルトルーズ色）の中小型型種 です。

植栽後、春～夏は整った草姿、夏～冬は開張型に草姿を変えるが、明黄緑色（ほのかなやさしいシャルトルーズ色）は季節により緑色に紅葉に変化する。成長の伴い越冬枝は下葉を落葉させる。

冬至芽の発生数が多く、６月では枝数が１００本/株に達する。

四季彩11は株元の茎は、タケシマキリンソウに比べ木質部よりの新芽（冬至芽）は多く発生する。

降雪期では明緑黄色の基調色に紅の外斑が入り景観を引き立てる。

Shikisai 11 is a medium-sized and small-sized species with a light yellow-green color (a faint gentle chartreuse color) that grows quickly and has a regular appearance. After planting, the grass changes shape from spring to summer to a tidy form, and from summer to winter to an open form, but the bright yellow-green color (a gentle chartreuse color) changes to green and autumn leaves depending on the season. Overwintering branches shed their lower leaves as they grow. A large number of winter buds appear, and the number of branches reaches 100 per plant in June. In Shikisai 11, more new buds (winter buds) emerge from the woody part of the stem than in Phedimus takesimensis . During the snowy season, the base color is bright green-yellow with external red markings that complement the landscape.

タケシマキリンソウの原種は　直立型で高さは平均30cm～40cmで50ｃｍに達する場合もある。

成長年数が経過すると株元の茎は木質化して枯損せず経年する。

当年成長枝の木質化は多い。新芽は木質部や成長枝が木質化した部分より多く発生する
