12Sedum/Phedimus Mutation Lecture 1
The evergreen kirinsou, which is registered as a seedling, is famous as a perennial plant that looks green all year round, grows with natural rainwater, and is a perennial plant. Why don’t you work on “evergreen”, “grow with natural rainwater”, “colorful leaf color”, and “change the shape of the grass” using mutation technology on the natural perennial bamboo Phedimus takesimens
Breeding of Phedimus takesimens by mutation is the first in the world, and if successful, breed improvement can be accelerated in a short period of time compared to the creation of new breeds by crossbreeding.
There are many books that explain mutation breeding, but this is the first lecture that introduces the process using actual photographs.
We hope that research institutes, landscaping companies and breeders find new avenues of success. Questions are welcome.
